The story behind the iconic EM77 vacuum jugs and its creation is that Stelton wanted a vacuum jug that suited the Cylinda-line series which Arne Jacobsen had designed 10 years before. Erik Magnussen was tasked with this and designed a vacuum jug that had the same cylindrical shape and material expression as the celebrated Cylinda line.
